How to use LINC

Finding Books

You can search the LINC library catalogues to find the books you want. You can search under title, author, and keyword. It is useful to remember that quotation marks will narrow down your search.

Once you have found the books you want, you can call or go into your local public library and ask for it to be delivered there.

If the book is in a University or College library, you can join and borrow in person. If you're a College or University student, join your local library and you can have your textbooks sent there, giving you more time to work and play!

You must be a library member in order to benefit fully from the LINC scheme

Three ways to join a LINC public library:

Take an accepted form of identification into your nearest public library and ask about
      joining

Download a joining form from your local authority website

Complete and submit a registration form online to join a public library in Conwy,
      Denbighshire, Flintshire or Gwynedd

Joining College or University Libraries:

Members of a LINC Public Library can join a College or University library by downloading the LINC joining form and asking staff at your local public library to validate it. Take the validated form and your existing library card into the library you wish to join.

Some LINC partners have further joining requirements, such as passport photographs or an additional short form to complete. Please check the joining information for the individual LINC library or call before making your trip.
