Local Lending Schemes
This section of site aims to provide you with information regarding the inter library lending schemes available in Wales.
LINC Y GOGLEDD
The LINC y Gogledd scheme enables library members, students and staff of any north Wales public, educational or health library to borrow books free from any public, college, university and NHS library across North Wales. Furthermore, LINC partners have established a sustainable regional delivery network and will deliver the requested items to the library of the reader's choice quickly and free of charge. Public library members can also join college and university libraries in person at no cost.
Please visit the Linc y Gogledd page for further information.
Books4U
The Intra Regional lending system started in 2006 as part of the Gateways to Learning Project. When the project finished the gateways partners agreed to continue with the service. This was extended to 5 more local authorities in 2009 and the service renamed to Books4U.
