European Sources Online (ESO) is an online database which provides information on
- the institutions and activities of the European Union
- the countries, regions and other international organisations of Europe
- the issues of importance to European citizens, researchers and stakeholders
One search allows you to find information from the European Union, think tanks and research organisations, books, journal articles and newspapers, information from national governments and other international organisations, and much more. There is also a series of unique Information Guides compiled by the ESO Editorial Team on EU Institutions and Policies and European countries. Whether you have a high demand for information about Europe or just an occasional enquiry, ESO can help you. ESO can be used to find information both for the general public and the professional.
You can also have access to them if you’re registered with library.wales.org – just hop across to the login page. If you haven’t registered on library.wales.org, then you can do so over on the Register page.
