There are changes coming to the Find a Book service in the next few weeks.
Find a Book will be using new software which will provide faster, better searching.
You will notice some changes, for example to order a book you will need to either type or copy and paste some details into the form.

The Find a Book beta service brings together publicly accessible library catalogues from all across Wales into a single search. By entering a term in the search box below you can choose to look for all kinds of material in any of the Public, Higher Education or  Further Education Libraries or libraries in a particular region.

Use our Advanced Search to select and search within specific libraries.

Search your Local Authority Catalogue by clicking on one of the listed resources.

 

Borrowing an Item

Members of public libraries in Wales can request an item through Find a Book in exactly the same way as making a request in person at the public library. Simply search Find a Book for the item you wish to borrow and click on the ?Borrow Item? button. Read more about the terms and conditions of this service.

What does beta mean?

The Find a Book service is currently in 'beta'. This means that whilst we want you to use the search there may be parts of the service that aren't quite finished yet and new features which will be added over time.

To help you use the search and request items we've created a page of Frequently Asked Questions. We also want you to give us your views and report any problems via our Contact Form.
