“On board the moletrain Medes, Sham Yes ap Soorap watches in awe as he witnesses his first moldywarpe hunt. ”
This book could just as easily fit into the Fantasy or the Uncategorised list, I am sure someone else will have said this but the book is Moby DIck on Steam trains, almost certainly deliberatley. I am waiting for the movie…
The story follows a central YA character through cliched adventures but to a surprising end, with an option for a sequel. A joy to read.
I liked it so much I immediately followed it by reading ” The City and the City” and “The Kraken” both of which I can also barely praise enough.
Please read these books and you will be glad that you did.
