Free e-books

Do you have an e-reader but can’t afford to download all the books you’d like to read?  Take a look at a selection of free e-books on offer.  Some libraries in Walesare offering subscription only e-books services for Welsh Library members.  For more information visit www.wales.libraryebooks.co.uk or your local library website pages.

Wayne John of Neath Port Talbot libraries said: “The e-books service is proving extremely popular and the fact that the books are free is a real bonus in the current times.  Libraries are free to join and, once a member, you can log onto the e-books website – at home or remotely – download the e-books to your computer and then transfer them to your e-book reader or iPad. And people don’t need to remember to take their books back because the digital book automatically deletes itself after three weeks.

“The e-book service even allows you to reserve an e-book if it is unavailable and, if you provide an email address, you will be alerted as soon as the title becomes available.  The service is available 24/7, so great for those late night readers who need a new book.”
