Looking for something different to do?  Libraries put on events for all ages throughout the year – these can range from Bounce and Rhyme Time for babies through to computer sessions for silver surfers, reading groups and craft activities to author events, knit and natter groups to Zumba classes.  Many of these are free or have a small nominal charge.

Whatever your reason for visiting the library, you may enjoy participating ian any of the many library events or activities.  Your library may host guest lectures, poets, novelists, or other literary experts. 

One Library user said, ‘I have recently attended events such as the 21^st World Scout Jamboree and other Scouting events.  Access to the library has meant I am able to keep in contact with people from other countries who I have met through the internet.  Also, I can use the internet to use an e-mentoring  scheme I am part of with Cardiff University which helps me to gain understanding of what can help me to achieve my ambitions in the future.’
